The story of Adeola, the daughter of popular Nigerian actress Jumoke George, has taken a dramatic turn for the better. After being trafficked to Mali four years ago, Adeola has finally returned to Nigeria. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairman and CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), confirmed her rescue and return in a post on X (formerly Twitter).

According to Jumoke George’s revelation on the show “Talk to B”, Adeola had gone missing after leaving Ibadan for Lagos. However, she eventually reached out to her family and apologized after traveling overseas with friends. Jumoke George also shared her struggles with financial and health issues, which led her to decline acting offers and take out loans for medical testing, amounting to approximately ₦400,000.

Currently, Jumoke George is receiving treatment at a public hospital in Lagos, as confirmed by the show’s host, Biola Adebayo. The rescue of Adeola highlights the dangers of human trafficking and the importance of support for victims and their families.
