The Imo State Government has launched a massive enrollment exercise for the ImoCare Health Insurance Program, aimed at providing residents with access to quality healthcare services at subsidized rates. The initiative is part of the government’s efforts to broaden the reach of the Imo State Health Insurance Scheme, established to ensure that every Imolite benefits from quality healthcare.
According to Governor Hope Uzodimma, the enrollment exercise will cover all 654 communities in the state, starting from Tuesday, May 20, 2025. The Governor encouraged all residents to seize this opportunity and enroll in the program, which guarantees year-round access to reliable, affordable, and quality healthcare services for individuals and their loved ones.
The Imo State Health Insurance Agency (IMSHIA) will oversee the enrollment process, ensuring that the program is implemented effectively across the state. This initiative reflects the government’s commitment to improving the health and well-being of its citizens.
