The Nigerian Air Force has carried out a decisive air interdiction operation on a terrorist stronghold in Bukar Meram, located on the southern edge of the Lake Chad region. The airstrike was carried out in the early hours of Monday, June 9, at about 0545 hours, under the auspices of Operation KALACHEN WUTA II. The operation formed part of a broader strategy aimed at disrupting terrorist activities before, during, and after the Eid-el-Kabir Sallah period.
