
The Obidient Movement, led by National Coordinator Dr. Tanko Yunusa, has announced significant progress in its efforts to build structures across Nigeria’s 36 states and 774 local government areas. As of June 9, 2025, the movement has successfully covered 28 states and 540 local government areas.
The covered states include Ondo, Oyo, Ekiti, and Osun in the South West; Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross River, and Delta in the South South; Plateau, Niger, Kwara, Kogi, Benue, and Nassarawa in the North Central; Kano, Sokoto, Jigawa, Katsina, Kaduna, Kebbi, and Zamfara in the North West; and Adamawa, Bauchi, Gombe, Yobe, Borno, and Taraba in the North East.

The movement’s national coordinator expressed gratitude to supporters and stakeholders, assuring that updates on further progress would be shared.
